Little Black Dress Edition: Taraji P. Henson at The 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself' Premiere

The very beautiful (and my absolutely favorite actress) and Oscar nominated Taraji P. Henson recently attended the premiere of her upcoming film "I Can Do Bad All By Myself."

Taraji P. Henson looked absolutely stunning in all black and I can't help but think this little black dress is ultra fabulous.


The corset style dress is so chic and trendy I have been digging around the web all morning in search for the designer. No luck.

Taraji P. Henson completed her look with open toe pumps and a metallic clutch. She also went light on the jewelry opting for a stylish cuff bracelet and chandelier style hoop earrings.

Simple but fierce. But honestly, can you ever go wrong with a little black dress?

Propers: Hottest Looks of The Week

It's Friday...and time to give propers to this week's most stylish.

Let's get to it people...

Rather you love her or hate her, Beyonce did the damn thing this week.



She rocked this chic and flirty look for her taping on David Letterman. This color looks great on Beyonce and it is one of the hottest colors of the season. According to the Pantone color report for this season, the color is Palace Blue. Great shade.

And here she is leaving the show in a white and more glamorous dress...



Very diva. She looked fabulous this week in all of her appearances, but these are my favorite looks. With Beyonce's style, either it is a hit or a horrible miss. She truly deserves her propers for this week.

Oh yeah...her shoe game is on point. Pure fierceness.

Celebrity Fashion|Chanel And Tribeca Film Festival|Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Mary-Kate Olsen & Others

The Chanel And Tribeca Film Festival took place recently, and some of the most fabulous celebs came out in support. Of course they were all decked out in Chanel in honor of the occasion.

One of my favorite and most fashionable starlets Kerry Washington made an appearance, and as usual, rocked a look that truly demonstrates how independently stylish she really is...

Kerry looked absolutely gorgeous in silver and this dress is classic Chanel. She accessorized with a silver Chanel clutch bag, and black pumps. I love that she pulled back her hair and went easy with the make-up since her look was so classic. I love Kerry's style.

Oscar nominated actress Viola Davis also made an appearance...



Can't say I love her look, but her hair is fierce.

Alexis Bledel came out...



Yawn. I love Alexis but this look was a snooze fest. Glad to see her out and about though...she's been ghost for a while.

Mary-Kate Olsen...



Leave it to Mary-Kate Olsen to always dress like a woman in her late 50's. Her red Chanel clutch is fab though.

And Drena DeNiro looked stunning in a crimson one-shoulder number...



Gorgeous.

Celebrity Fashion|1st Historic Health Summit Gala| Naomi Campbell,Kristin Davis, Jessica Alba

The 1st Historic Health Summit Gala recently took place, and of course the celebs came out to support and got all dapper for the occassion.

Naomi Campbell made an appearance...





She wore an all black, halter dress with ribbon detail. She accessorized with a pearl cuff bracelet and diamond studs. Can't say I'm loving the look...but she sure is glowing. I guess having a billionaire boyfriend will do that to you.




Sex And The City diva Kristin Davis also made an all black appearance. She looked fab in one of the hottest trends out right now...lace. Kristin always manages to dress just like her SATC character Charlotte: Classic and Fabulous.

Kristin has also joined SATC cast member Sarah Jessica Parker and has dabbled into fashion design. She has her own line of shoes and clothing. And from what I have seen so far...her pieces are absolutely stunning. Prices are kind of high, but I have been impressed with what I have seen so far and I usually don't do celebrity fashion lines.

Moving on...

And Jessica Alba cleaned up and looked stunning in white...



She looked gorgeous in her ruffled dress and used a belt to add some sass to the mid section of her dress. I am loving the make-up and I am glad to see she can still get diva when she has to. And you know what I am talking about...Jess has been pretty disappointing lately with her fashion choices.

Nonetheless, this calls for a double take...



Fabulous. Well work it out then Jessica.

Celebrity Propers:Kerry Washington's Spring Look

I am sooo late on this post, but please believe me when I have a good reason for my tardiness.

On to the fashion...

Actress Kerry Washington recently attended an evening with Neil LaBute and friends at the New York Times Center. Always known for own unique and impressive sense of style, she looked fabulous and totally appropriate for the season.

Kerry Washington wore a sleeveless sheer white top, and a gorgeous mustard tiered skirt. In fact, this shade closely resembles one of the colors on the Pantone Spring 2009 report: Super Lemon. It seems as if the color report is pretty accurate this season. The floral print is beautiful, and the skirt is super trendy.

On to the accessories…





While I love Kerry’s ensemble, she should made some different choices when it came down to accessorizing. While diamonds and pearls symbolize class and elegance, it is something about these particular pearls that are really throwing me off. It appears as if the necklace has ribbon included in its design, and it looks too long and rather sloppy. I also feel she could have made a better choice in earrings; studs would have done the trick if she insisted on wearing the lengthy pearl necklace.

Otherwise, Kerry Washington looks fabulous, and she is still one of my favorite starlets to watch for on the red carpet. It’s always exciting to witness her every fashionable step, isn’t it?

Fergie Launches New Shoe Collection

Fergie is at it again, as she has teamed up with The Brown Shoe company again to launch a new shoe collection.

This time around, Fergie Ferg has three collections: "Kickin' Back" for relaxed and everyday function, "Paparazzi Ready" for a sexy night out on town, and "Gliteratti" for red carpet worthy occasions.

Now I am not one to go anywhere near celebrity clothing lines or shoe lines, but I do think some of there shoes are really cute.

Sylvia. These are gladiator style sandals...one of my favorite styles. These also come in black.

Anne Hathaway came out to the New York premiere of "Valentino: The Last Emperor." She looked fabulous in all white and totally classic.


I think it's safe to say that Anne Hathaway has on Valentino, and I am loving the white jacket and the dress. She looks really sophisticated.


Fierce.

Celebrity Fashion|Victoria Beckham At Dinner In Milan And Heathrow Airport

It's time for celebrity propers, and as usual, Victoria Beckham is the recipient.

Every since she has stepped into the competitive world of fashion design, Victoria has developed a great sense of style that would put her days as Posh Spice to shame.

Victoria Beckham was spotted recently in Milan having dinner with hubby David Beckham...

Victoria looked absolutely fabulous sporting one of the hottest runway trends as of late:

big and ultra-dramatic shoulders.

I love this look rather it's on the runways or pure street chic because it is so bold and it's the better part of 80's fashion.

I simply love this look on Victoria Beckham and I'm all for dramatic shoulders.


Tip: It's okay to get dramatic with your shoulders and shoulder pads achieve this look easily. But it wouldn't hurt to take a cue from Victoria Beckham as well as top designers and let dramatic shapes create the look.

And the other day, Victoria Beckham went the classic route while arriving to Heathrow Airport...


Victoria took it to the 60s in this stylish dress and big shades. And I am absolutely loving the bag.

Celebrity Fashion|Crystle Stewart, Sarah Jessica Parker At The 2009 The School of American Ballet's Winter Ball

Sorry I have been slow on the posting, some things came up and I had to step away from my laptop. Forgive me and let me continue with my fashionly duties.

The 2009 School of American Ballet's Winter Ball took place the other day, and some of the celebs stopped by and rocked some pretty postworthy looks.


Miss USA 2008 Crystle Stewart rocked a very interesting look wearing a dress that I can't say I understand.


I usually love flower decor, especially on the shoulders, but the flowers weren't enough to save this dress. I also think the black hem of the dress is too strong and overpowering, and I must say that this dress would have suited an older lady much better than a young Crystle Stewart.

Propers: Her hair looks great pulled back in such an elegant bun, and she didn't go overboard with using the tiny flowers as hair pieces.

But as for the dress...

HATED IT.

Let's move on to the fashion savvy and fashion forward SJP...



Sarah Jessica Parker looks absolutely fabulous. No stranger to New York Fashion Week, I see she is taking a few cues from the runway and going very Old Hollywood with this look. What I really love about Sarah Jessica Parker's look is how she made wearing goat hair look absolutely chic and so fashionably necessary. I don't particularly like the emerging goat hair trend, but SJP makes it look fierce...effortlessly.

To stylishly enforce the Old Hollywood look, she completed the look with black gloves and a thick diamond bracelet.

And that dress has to be the perfect shade of green.

Double take...


Pure fierceness and I love every bit of it.

Celebrity Fashion|Fergie Attends LA Launch of Her Special Edition Mac Lip Gloss

Fergie Ferg was spotted yesterday at the LA launch of her special edition MAC lip gloss. Fresh from her wedding to Josh Duhamel, she rocked a pretty interesting look, which is usually what Fergie goes for anyway...


Can't say I love the look, but I see what she was trying to accomplish. The navy blue dress is simple and stylish, but the shoes were a horrible match period.

Now the shoes are fierce. They actually put her dress to shame, and therefore make her entire ensemble look awkward.



But I am loving this ring and cuff that she is rocking though. Check out the bead and chain detail...haute.

Celebrity Fashion|Victoria Beckham Gets Fierce At Lax Airport

Victoria Beckham, fresh from releasing her second collection of dresses, made a very fashionable appearance at LAX recently...


Victoria Beckham must be taking a page out of Coco Chanel's book, and using her own great style to enhance her own fashion designer credits.

She was looking smoking haute in a slate gray (one of Spring's hottest colors according to the Pantone color report) double breasted jacket, and slate gray pumps. It looks like Victoria Beckham has also been paying attention to the runways as of late because she is wearing one of the hottest trends right now-fashionable hats.

Her bag is chic and flirty and her shades are a perfect fit.

Chick was fierce as hell catching her flight at LAX airport.

Celebrity Fashion|Scarlett Johansson, Eva Mendes, Kate Hudson At Milan Fashion Week

The stars were in full force at Milan Fashion Week, and some even strutted down the runway themselves in designer pieces.

Scarlett Johansson and fellow actress Freida Pinto walked the runway for D&G. Scarlett walked the catwalk in a silver gown, tight at the waist that looked very 50's. She changed into a figure hugging animal print gown after the D&G fashion show.


Kate Hudson made an appearance at the Extreme Beauty In Vogue party...



looking like a shiny candy wrapper. She wore this metallic jacket and skirt, and I must say...HATED IT.

And actress Eva Mendes opted for a red cocktail dress...


and brought extra chic to her ensemble by wearing a black waist belt.
