The First Diva wore a beautiful pink Moschino swing jacket with a bow front piquet. Jackie O? No, I think she is just trying to be Michelle. Is that okay?

The very beautiful (and my absolutely favorite actress) and Oscar nominated Taraji P. Henson recently attended the premiere of her upcoming film "I Can Do Bad All By Myself."

Taraji P. Henson looked absolutely stunning in all black and I can't help but think this little black dress is ultra fabulous.


The corset style dress is so chic and trendy I have been digging around the web all morning in search for the designer. No luck.

Taraji P. Henson completed her look with open toe pumps and a metallic clutch. She also went light on the jewelry opting for a stylish cuff bracelet and chandelier style hoop earrings.

Simple but fierce. But honestly, can you ever go wrong with a little black dress?

Michelle Obama Says President 'Doesn't Understand Fashion'

First Lady Michelle Obama recently chatted it up in an interview with the New York Times about style, motherhood, and the president's lack of knowledge when it comes to fashion.

On the president's interest in her fashion choices, she says:

"He's always asking: 'Is that new? I haven't seen that before,'" she said, revealing that she replies: "Why don't you mind your own business? Solve world hunger. Get out of my closet."

Imitating her husband's inability to understand her need for so many shoes, she says:

"You didn't need any more shoes. The shoes you had on yesterday were fine. Why can't you just wear that for the rest of the presidency?"

And about that silver belt that Barack hates so much:

"Barack calls it my Star Trek belt. He doesn't understand fashion."

They are just too cute. In related news, some crazy republican bastard is saying that Michelle Obama's style is not glamorous like Jackie O, and that she looks like James Brown. Read it here.

These right wing racists have nothing better to do I see. And if I am not mistaken, Michelle Obama didn't ask for any Jackie O comparisons. She just picks clothes that she likes, and doesn't follow any fashion rules. And how can someone that people claim is so impeccably unstylish manage to sell out half the stuff that she wears? That dress she wore on the View sold out in an hour after the show was aired. I guess we have a lot of unstylish women in America. Bless their hearts.

Beyonce's 'Diva'...

is the number one dance record in the country.

After the single was released and made available for download on January 20, it quickly became #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Charts, and #19 on the Hot 100. This is great news for Beyonce since this makes it her 16th top 20 single.

The hot single was co-written and produced by Beyonce.

Michelle Obama To Receive Style Award From CFDA

The Council of Fashion Designers of America announced on Monday that they will award First Lady Michelle Obama with the Style Award.

The CFDA said they are honoring Michelle Obama for her “inspiration and commitment to American fashion.”

The organization also plans to create a grant in her name to award to a new fashion company.

Former first lady Jackie O also received the award in 1994.

Kanye West Admits Hiring Ghostwriters For His Blog

Kanye West recently told New York magazine:

“I might [blog for] two hours in a day, it might be fifteen minutes in a day. I have two people that I hired and I tell them exactly what I want — it’s just like how a designer would work. I tell them, you know, Surface magazine,Wallpaper,Architectural Digest, Hypebeast, Bossip…..go to these different blogs, and keep on pulling information. And then they send it to me, and I get like 80 e-mails, and I have to check and go through them. And sometimes I’ll have my own stuff where I’ll just be in a cool place, like if I had my camera right now, I’d like photograph this stuff and go home and be really excited to blog it.”

Everyone already knows you have ghostwriters Ye', you didn't have to confirm it. I honestly doubt that most celebs have the time to run a blog like that anyway. At least someone is still getting work in the recession.

Beyonce Does Vogue And Italian Vogue

Beyonce is everywhere these days, and now she has landed on the cover of Vogue...

The 27 year old superstar graces the cover of the April 2009 issue of Vogue.

In the issue, Beyonce talks singing for the Inauguration, being a role model, her superstar status, and those fabulous curves of hers.

On her influence on young girls:

“The amount of influence I have on these young girls is scary sometimes. But I also understand how lucky I am to have that.”

On loosing and gaining weight:

“It’s easy for me to gain weight. I’m not a naturally stick-thin girl. I’m not heavy but I'm not skinny either.”
On upcoming film projects:

"I've gotten three offers, but they are all filming while I'm away on tour. She lets out an ironic little laugh. I wish there really was a Sasha Fierce, because I'd send her on the road and I would go and do the movies."

since Forbes reports that Oprah Winfrey's net worth has jumped from 2.5 billion to 2.7 billion over the past year.

She ranked number 234 on their new list, with Bill Gates grabbing the number one spot. Steven Spielberg and George Lucas also made the list.

Two of my favorite divas have joined forces to cover the April 2009 issue of O magazine.

I simply love this cover and both ladies look fabulous.

First Lady Michelle Obama rocked it in her red cocktail dress and yellow sweater. The color combination is sick, but I do wish she had not worn the clear plastic belt. I have always hated clear plastic belts, shoes, and bags. It all just screams cheap to me. Nonetheless, she looks gorgeous.

And look at Lady O rocking one of the hottest colors of the spring, Rose Dust. The shade looks great on Oprah.

In the April issue of O, Michelle Obama talks to Oprah about adjusting to her new role and life in the White House.

The issue hits stands March 17.

Victoria Beckham, fresh from releasing her second collection of dresses, made a very fashionable appearance at LAX recently...


Victoria Beckham must be taking a page out of Coco Chanel's book, and using her own great style to enhance her own fashion designer credits.

She was looking smoking haute in a slate gray (one of Spring's hottest colors according to the Pantone color report) double breasted jacket, and slate gray pumps. It looks like Victoria Beckham has also been paying attention to the runways as of late because she is wearing one of the hottest trends right now-fashionable hats.

Her bag is chic and flirty and her shades are a perfect fit.

Jennifer Hudson News|Jennifer Hudson To Sing On Oprah On Friday

Jennifer Hudson will sing on Oprah Friday 2/27 (today folks).

The Grammy and Oscar winning singer will be flying to her hometown of Chicago to sing on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Although Jennifer Hudson has sang at several high profile events like the Superbowl, the Grammys and the Clive Davis affair since her tragic losses, this will mark Hudson's first performance in Chicago since the murders.

She is expected to sing "If This Isn't Love" from her self-entitled album.

I know I will be watching.

In more Jennifer Hudson news, she will kick off her first solo tour on April 2 alongside R&B singer Robin Thicke in Philadelphia.

President Obama made his first speech to a joint session of Congress last night, and of course First Lady Michelle Obama was there full force to support him and looked fabulous too...


Michelle Obama wore a sleeveless Narciso Rodriguez plum silk dress. Of course many of her critics will argue that she should have worn a suit like Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden, but Michelle Obama is so damn fabulous she can basically do whatever she wants...and she does. And I just love it.

Michelle Obama wore this oh-so-lovely glittery silver gown designed by Peter Soronen. Peter Soronen is a Chicago based fashion designer who made his debut at New York Fashion Week for Fall 2007. He's an up and coming fashion designer, and it is so Michelle Obama to once again select a designer who is on the come up.

I'm loving this dress...



My only complaint for the First Lady would have to be her overuse of pearls. While it is super stylish to wear more than one strand (thank you CoCo Chanel!), if you tend to wear that many strands, it's best to wear them in layers (at various lengths). But other than that, I think she looks exquisite.




I could use a glass myself, Mr. President.

Fashion goddess Sarah Jessica Parker wasn't up for an Oscar, but she was a clear winner with her chosen dress for the evening...

Sarah Jessica Parker wore this beautiful strapless corset style Dior dress. I'm not sure if you can tell or not, but this Dior dress has a pale green full skirt that I think is just lovely.

My only complaint with this dress is it was a little too tight in the chest area for SJP's boobs. She even complained a few times herself that she could barely breathe in the dress.

Regardless, I still think this was such a stunning dress. Sarah Jessica Parker was definitely one of my favorites for the night. I'm not surprised, I mean this is SJP here folks. Rarely ever has she had any fashion missteps (with the exception of her decision to wear fruit baskets and birds on the side of her head occasionally).

Kanye West Just Wants To Be Great And Wants Hackers To Let Him Live

Rapper Kanye West can't seem to stay out of controversy these days.

The rapper has been a favorite target for rapper turned bully 50 Cent as of late, and now hackers seem to have an intense interest in him also.

Kanye states that hackers have apparently hacked into his email account and then posted on numerous forums claiming that the superstar will appear in a bisexual porn film.

Unfortunately, the American Video News picked up the rumor and ran it as a story without doing any fact checking.

Kanye states in his blog:

"Yoooo, why won't you let me be great!!! I had the two greatest days of my life, and when I get back from the Louie [sic] show, I read some sh-- claiming I said I'm down to do porn and some bisexual porn!!!! I can't believe the AVN [Adult Video News] would post [that story]."


This isn't Kanye's first encounter with online hackers, recently, his twitter account was hacked. The hacker pretended to be Kanye West and started a tweet altercation with Stephen Colbert. West on the situation:

"First people believed the Twitter/ Stephen Colbert thing, Rolling Stone even printed it!!!!" he said. "Now somebody has been hacking into my MySpace and somebody's actually hacked into my personal GMail account and has been e-mailing people from it. ... Hey, world, I no longer have GMail! I found out I had twelve unauthorized Skype accounts under my name!!! This all in the past four days. Welcome to Kanye West World!

"Please I beg you, give me a break!!!!!" Let me be great!!! Who have I hurt so bad that they want to destroy me? Who have I ever spoke about so negatively? I just was speaking with our new president two days ago ... and now this."


I know it must suck for Kanye to be such a favorite with hackers, but unfortunately, his high level of stardom makes him accessible to these types of situations. Even us normal folks know plenty of people that don't seem to want us to achieve greatness either.

I hope Kanye doesn't allow this to keep him down for too long.

2009 SAG Awards|2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards Best Dressed| Anne Hathaway|Eva Longoria|Taraji P. Henson|Rosario Dawson| Freida Pinto| Marisa Tomei

The 2009 Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards took place last night, and as usual, some of the most fashionable starlets brought total fabulousness to the red carpet. Here are my favorite looks and my best dressed list for the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards. My list is short and sweet and every one on this list rightfully deserves their place.

First up, the always fashionable and rarely disappointing Anne Hathaway...


Anne Hathaway looked elegant in this simply gorgeous Azzaro dress. The genius of this dress is the bejeweled neckline and waist, and the white hue only added to the gorgeous glow Anne perfectly displayed on the red carpet. She truly looked like a goddess last night. This is absolutely one of my favorite looks of the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards. I knew Hathaway wouldn't disappoint.



Next up: The effortlessly stylish Eva Longoria Parker...



Eva Longoria Parker looked radiant in this peach toned Jenny Packham dress. I know most of the fashion critics might disagree with this pick, but I am a petite woman just like Eva, and no we don't have to wear only cocktail dresses to look good at formal events!

The dress is a piece from Jenny Packham's Spring 2009 collection, and Packham brilliantly used ruffles in the mid section of the dress, and I love the jeweled neckline, perfect touch to a beautiful dress. The peach color looked great on Eva.


She kept her accessories simple and made a smart choice in carrying this gold clutch.

One of my favorite actresses, Taraji P. Henson...


Taraji P. Henson doesn't get as much credit as I think she should when it comes to how great she has been looking lately on the red carpet. She looked stunning at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards in this white Herve Leroux dress.


Although the front of the dress is just as fabulous, I can't help but love the back of this dress! And check out her chunky jeweled bracelet...chick is pretty fierce. Great look for Taraji P. Henson.

Next up is Rosario Dawson...




Rosario Dawson looked absolutely classic in this silver Dolce and Gabbana dress. This silver tone is practically captivating on its own, but the overall sophisticated cut of this dress looked great on Rosario. She completed this look in a sparkly Neil Lane ring and earrings, and a pair of Jimmy Choo "Gloss" platform shoes.

Freida Pinto...


Actress Freida Pinto looked like a stylish princess in this beautiful soft blue Marchesa gown. What's not to love about this pleated gown with a criss-crossed bodice?




This silver jeweled Roger Viver box clutch, diamond earrings and bracelets were additional elegant choices to such an elegant gown. Freida Pinto is really becoming someone to watch for on the red carpet. She's becoming a regular on everyone's best dressed list as of late.

Marisa Tomei...


Marisa Tomei had everyone talking about this gold Elie Saab gown. I have to admit, when she walked onto the stage, I absolutely fell in love with this dress.

I hope now you can understand why this dress was one of the most talked about gowns of the 2009 Screen Actor Guild Awards. Just fabulous.

Well that wraps up my 2009 Screen Actor Guild Awards best dressed list. I hope you find my choices reasonable, but I must admit I stand pretty firm in my choices. These ladies looked absolutely beautiful on the red carpet and unquestionably deserved their spots on anyone's best dressed list.
