It's Friday...and time to give propers to this week's most stylish.

Rather you love her or hate her, Beyonce did the damn thing this week.



She rocked this chic and flirty look for her taping on David Letterman. This color looks great on Beyonce and it is one of the hottest colors of the season. According to the Pantone color report for this season, the color is Palace Blue. Great shade.

And here she is leaving the show in a white and more glamorous dress...



Very diva. She looked fabulous this week in all of her appearances, but these are my favorite looks. With Beyonce's style, either it is a hit or a horrible miss. She truly deserves her propers for this week.

Oh yeah...her shoe game is on point. Pure fierceness.

Beyonce...

will be on Larry King Live tonight. She is in full promo mode, so she will be talking about her hit album, tour, and upcoming film Obsessed which hits theaters tomorrow.

Beyonce Has Plans...

to team up with Britain's X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke on a new track. Beyonce has been telling people she thinks Alexandra has what it takes to be as a big as Leona Lewis, and plans to help her do so.

For those who don't know X-Factor is basically the American Idol of Britain.

Well apparently the tabloids have been blasting Beyonce for gaining weight after grabbing a hold of these photos from her video shoot for "Ego."

Like I previously posted, any idiot should have been able to tell that the girl had on some extreme padding, but I guess I was terribly mistaken.

Anywho, Beyonce got a little pissy about people jumping on her weight, so she had her spokesperson blast the tabloids.

Here's what her spokesperson said to US Magazine:

"This is not a weight-gain issue. Beyonce is in the best shape of her life. The exaggerated hips are a design element of a truly couture dress. Beyonce has always loved this dress."

The dress was designed by Thierry Mugler.

Mugler's spokesperson said the following concerning the dress:

"The padded hips intentionally focus attention to the waist."

The internet is going crazy over Ciara allegedly swagger jacking Beyonce in her latest video "Love Sex Magic."

Now I have always had love for Ciara since she is from the A and all, but I can't help but notice that she has really lost herself. The singles she has released so far are horrible, and even this joint she has with Justin Timberlake lacks luster.

I'm not sure what your opinion is, but I came across this excellent post that echoes most of my thoughts on Ciara's career at this point. Check it out here.

In the meantime, me and my I-Pod are waiting for the return of the real Ciara who keeps her damn goodies in a jar and doesn't have to dance like a stripper to remind us that she still exists. Do better Ci Ci, please.

Beyonce's 'Diva'...

is the number one dance record in the country.

After the single was released and made available for download on January 20, it quickly became #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Charts, and #19 on the Hot 100. This is great news for Beyonce since this makes it her 16th top 20 single.

The hot single was co-written and produced by Beyonce.

Beyonce Does Vogue And Italian Vogue

Beyonce is everywhere these days, and now she has landed on the cover of Vogue...

The 27 year old superstar graces the cover of the April 2009 issue of Vogue.

In the issue, Beyonce talks singing for the Inauguration, being a role model, her superstar status, and those fabulous curves of hers.

On her influence on young girls:

“The amount of influence I have on these young girls is scary sometimes. But I also understand how lucky I am to have that.”

On loosing and gaining weight:

“It’s easy for me to gain weight. I’m not a naturally stick-thin girl. I’m not heavy but I'm not skinny either.”
On upcoming film projects:

"I've gotten three offers, but they are all filming while I'm away on tour. She lets out an ironic little laugh. I wish there really was a Sasha Fierce, because I'd send her on the road and I would go and do the movies."

I was feeling everything up until the Marilyn Monroe inspired photos. I am not loving that look on Bee at all. That shade of blond does not look good on Beyonce. Nonetheless, these are still great shots.

First relationship Bee? Damn.

What about Marques Houston? Chico DeBarge? And the boyfriend you had when you were in Texas before Destiny's Child took off?

I mean I know all women like to pretend none of our exes really happened or exist for that matter when we are happy, but damn it if she didn't serve it to them something proper for millions to read about.

Pure hilarity, pick up your faces guys, she won't even claim you.

Celebrity Foolishness: Beyonce's Extreme Hips and Butt Pads

As much as I dig Beyonce, this is a true fashion no no. I know there are a lot of chicks who wear hip and butt pads, and that is fine if that is what you want to do. But umm, if your hip and butt pads are this extreme and people know you are wearing them, you will end up looking like this...

a certified fashion disaster. Beyonce is a beautiful girl, and her make-up is fierce. But it is so hard to even pay attention to the fierceness when it looks like she stuck a big a** pillow in her drawers.

I mean this is just ridiculous Bee...


Tip: If you are going to wear butt and/or hip pads like a lot of ladies are doing, no one should be able to look and tell that you are wearing them.

It truly defeats the damn purpose.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have been married for almost a year, and it now appears that Beyonce may have changed her tune on motherhood.

After just recently telling tabloids in interviews that childbirth frightens her, it seems as if she isn't going to let her fear keep her from starting a family with husband and long time sweetheart Jay-Z.

A source told In Touch magazine that they overheard Beyonce speaking at the Sprite Game All-Star Dinner last month.

When asked what she plans to do after her world tour for album I Am...Sasha Fierce, she was overhead telling a friend, "I think we're ready."

Now there really isn't much proof that she was talking about having babies, and it makes me wonder how true this can be considering that Beyonce just told Ebony magazine that she has no plans to retire because she loves her career too much.

Maybe she had a change of heart, but I just don't see her stepping away from the spotlight to have a family.

Keri Hilson Regrets Beyonce and Ciara Diss Track

Keri Hilson is now trying to separate herself from the diss track she put out that was allegedly recorded to go after Beyonce and Ciara.

Apparently, on a recent 95.5 interview here in her hometown (and mine) of Atlanta, she said she wants to be distanced from the diss record and that the whole idea was Polow De Pon's. The DJ also stated that Keri Hilson said she would never diss Beyonce (no word on Ciara though).

Sources say Keri's real beef is with singer Usher because he initially wanted to collaborate with Keri for his "Love In The Club" remix, but scrapped her vocals from the track after hearing it. Apparently he didn't like her sound, and instead asked Beyonce to sing the verse which was written by Keri. Keri Hilson still received her check and publishing rights, but it was a blow for Keri because the remix ended up being a hit, and a lost opportunity of stardom.

Just in case you didn't hear the track, here's the lyrics everyone has been talking about for the last day or so:

"I ain’t trying to start no mess but there’s something on my chest/ that I need to get off/ cause you turning me off /your vision cloudy if you think you the best, you can dance/ you can sing / but need to move it to the left/She need to go have some babies/She need to sit down she fake/them other chicks ain’t even worth my time to talk about/Been getting dollars/ go and get your money up/Go head and tell these folks how long I’ve been writing your song/ I been putting you on/ Just check the credits ho/ And if you want me you can find me in Decatur ho.”

While I love anyone who represents Decatur, I can't help but think this was kind of wack. It's wack because it was only a matter of time before Keri would have been forced to retract her statement because we all know Beyonce has a lot of clout in the business.

And apparently Beyonce laughed off the news of Keri's diss track and simply said:

"What she diss me for...Is it because I didn't want her tracks? If anything, she should be my friend."

Ouch. I can't help but think Solange is somewhere sitting around with a jar of vaseline, greased up, with her hair pulled back. You know she doesn't play about her sister. *Giggles*

In related news, Keri Hilson's debut album "In A Perfect World" is set to drop March 24. I guess all it takes is a diss track about Beyonce to get your forever pushed back album a release date that sticks. I ain't even mad at you Keri.

Scarves have to be one fashion's best kept secret weapons when it comes to accessorizing. With the help of a fabulous scarf, it's super easy to add life and flair to any outfit, even if you've opted to simply wear a sleeveless white top as Rihanna has done in the photo above.

Beyonce News|Beyonce Is Not Retiring And Announces 'I Am...' World Tour Dates

Remember a few years back (before Beyonce became Mrs. Carter) when Beyonce said she would retire and start a family in her mid 20s? Well she has totally scrapped that whole idea.

Beyonce recently sat down with Ebony magazine and talked retirement.

Here's what the bootylicious diva said about retirement:

"I will never retire. I love it way to much.

I've worked so hard on my craft and I will never stop."

Beyonce told the magazine she is well aware of the statement she made a few years ago.

But who hasn't figured this out already. Beyonce is 27, and just got married last year, and has been very vocal in her fear of childbirth. If Beyonce doesn't plan on retiring, it sounds like she doesn't plan on having any babies. So I guess there will be plenty more Beyonce films in the next couple of years too *sigh*. In more Beyonce news, the tour dates for her "I Am..." World Tour have been confirmed.

Beyonce has listed her at least five Canadian tour dates including the one held on March 26 at Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta. Beyonce will also head to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan for another live show on March 27. The following day, she will sing at MTC Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Beyonce is also scheduled to make a live appearance on March 29 at General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Beyonce will then return to America, singing in Seattle's Key Arena on April 1 and then continue with other shows in Europe and Asia. The Tour dates for her European and Asian concerts have not yet been announced.

Gwyneth Paltrow Gets Closer To Beyonce And Jay-Z

Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay husband Chris Martin seem to really be getting closer to Hip Hop power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z.

Apparently the couples are so close, Gwyneth's kids refer to Jay-Z as "Uncle Jay," and it's not out of the norm for BFFs Beyonce and Gwyneth to go on shopping trips together.

I'm also hearing that the couples enjoy weekly dinner dates, and we all know Gwyneth Paltrow was a guest at the couple's secret (well maybe not so secret) wedding last year.

I think it's fab that Beyonce and Jay-Z have another married couple to kick it with. I hear it's really beneficial for married folks to hang out with other married folks. It's so very grown up.

In more BFF news, Jay-Z has asked close friend LeBron James to review his upcoming album Blueprint 3. No word on what LeBron thinks just yet, but I do hear that he is very cut throat when it comes to music, especially Jay Z's. So hopefully, his criticism will help Jay-Z make another hit album.

What in the fish tail little mermaid hell Beyonce? Now as much as I like Beyonce, I can't help but glance at this dress and cringe. It just looks like Tina Knowles ripped down some damn curtains to make this damn dress. Oh Beyonce, I just knew you were so over your mother making your clothes. I guess not.

Maybe next time you'll refrain from wearing your grandmother's curtains and look absolutely stunning at the Oscars. But for now I must say...

HATED IT.

Beyonce News|Beyonce Booted From the Oscars?

I guess the folks at the Oscars don't seem to think Beyonce is irreplaceable. Just yesterday, I told you guys that Beyonce was confirmed to perform at the Oscars. She was selected to perform an opening scene with host Hugh Jackman, and was said to have already started rehearsing. Well Beyonce is said to no longer be part of the Oscar line up. Some people are whispering that Beyonce has been replaced by "The Devil Wears Prada" actress Anne Hathaway for an opening song and dance routine.

And Anne Hathaway had her first rehearsal with Hugh Jackman last night.

I'm not sure how true this is because I am also hearing that Beyonce is currently expected to now perform with Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens. I find that more believable. Beyonce's team is just too damn ruthless to let Beyonce lose an Oscar performance.

So we'll just have to see if Beyonce kept her gig or not. The Oscars airs Sunday February 22 on ABC.

Gossip Fix|Facebook Users Want To Fight Chris Brown|Martin Lawrence Takes On Eddie Murphy|Solange Said To Have 'Overdosed On Meds' And Passes Out

I apologize for the delay-it's just too much going on in my life right now.

Anywho, let's get started...

After the release of Notorious BIG's biopic film last month, a lot of folks began to wonder if Tupac Shakur would have his life's story hit the theaters as well...

Well a biopic on rapper Tupac Shakur is in the works. However, there is a battle going on between his entertainment firm entitled Amaru and the Morgan Creek production company. What are they battling over you may ask? The rights to the project.

I hope both companies are able to work things out because Tupac's life story is very well deserving to be told just like Biggie's was.

Moving on...

Solange Knowles is making headlines because she passed out at LAX airport the other day...


The reports are claiming she overdosed on cold syrup and passed out in the airport because of it. Now I am pretty sure this has been fabricated quite a bit considering that she probably passed out due to her intense performance schedule over the last few weeks, but I guess it makes a more interesting story to say chick is a NyQuil junkie. Hopefully, she will get some rest after all of this.

There seems to be a lot of folks out there that really want to kick Chris Brown's a** and the list is growing daily...


Well now there is an official facebook group for people who want to do so. Yes, there is a facebook group called "I Want To Fight Chris Brown." It was created by a martial arts expert, and he says the purpose of the group is for people to join who would like to take on Chris Brown and so he can "see what it's like to face a real opponent.” The group is fairly new, but is said to be growing rapidly.

And in more Chris Brown/Rihanna news, the black community is getting a bad rap for defending the actions of Chris Brown. Apparently, the media seems to think that just because there are a lot of Chris Brown fans who seem to be idiots and find his actions acceptable, all black people must somehow feel the same way.

They are even comparing this to the O.J. Simpson trial/drama, and stating how loyal they feel the black community is to black criminals.

I'm not sure how they came to this conclusion because I'm black and I do not support Chris Brown. And I know plenty of other black people who echo my sentiments. It's amazing how in 2009 people still manage to lump one group of people together based of such stupid things. Check out the ABC story here.

Martin Lawrence has a new project...


He's working on a new film entitled "Back To America," which is set on the same premise as Eddie Murphy's "Coming To America." Apparently the film is supposed to be about a working man from Queens who discovers he is heir to an African country who travels there to secure his birthright.

As of now, Martin Lawrence himself has not joined the cast.

And Beyonce has something to sing about...


She has been confirmed to sing at the upcoming Oscars. Beyonce's choice of song has not been released to the press yet.

Beyonce covers the March 2009 issue of Cosmpolitan UK magazine. She looks pretty fab as well...


In the issue, Beyonce talks about keeping fit and trying to maintain privacy in her life while being a superstar.

Here's what she said on her wedding to rapper Jay-Z:

"I've never been the girl who went to a wedding and thought, ‘Oooh, I want to get married.’ So I didn't want anything big and dramatic [for my wedding day] ... And I think that people can put way too much emphasis on the day. It’s just so temporary and it goes in a second ... I think it’s important for women to have their moment, whether it’s your prom or your birthday ... but to me, marriage is not about that moment. It’s about something way deeper."

On having kids:

"I do eventually want all of that (children) but I’ve seen the reality of having a kid through my nephew, Jules, and I know I’m not ready for it! Although, you know, if something happened ... People always say when it’s your kid it’s different."

On keeping her relationships private:

"There are certain things that are kind of obvious, and if you start talking, the questions will never stop. I think there’s more to life than sharing it with everyone ... At school, if I dated someone, I didn’t tell everyone. I feel like if everyone knows my stuff, it’ll take the beauty and pureness out of it."

Keeping quiet seems to be working for Jay-Z and Beyonce.
