Let's be honest here, there are plenty of fashion blogs out there. New ones are started every day, and most of them won't last longer than a few months. And some have become so successful that they have made the fashion industry pay attention to the power of blogs. This is the age of new media, and bloggers of every industry are breaking news and speaking our minds on issues without the limitations traditional journalists are faced with each day.
I started this blog for a number of reasons. But the most important of those reasons is I wanted a voice in an industry that I love so dearly. This blog is a reflection of who I am, and I am proud of it. Let me repeat that for you, I AM PROUD OF IT! I am a sassy, strong, petite, and independently stylish young woman with a strong love for entrepreneurship, and I work hard (I barely get any sleep) running this blog and working on my other projects. But I wouldn't trade what I do for anything in this world.
I cover everything that I possibly can that deals with fashion and do it in my very own way and in my very own style. I study fashion, study the latest collections, and never allow the name of a designer to overshadow my ability to spot great fashion and be frank with my readers. I follow the celebrities' most fashionable moments and their most dreadful moments, and I still have the ability to form my own opinions on what I think is fashionable.
I studied Journalism for four years, but I post my views the exact same way I would dish it to you if we were having a conversation. That is what bloggers are supposed to do, so if you want polished journalism, I can send you samples of my previous work (it's very polished).
With all that being said or typed, I am glad you stopped by and I hope you enjoy the blog. Feel free to leave a comment, but know this:
*Everyone has their own take on what is stylish and what isn't; fashion is all about self-expression, and we all express ourselves differently. So there is no logical reason for personal attacks because you don't like something I (or one of my readers) said about a celebrity. Have a coke and a smile, we can have a pow wow (email me). But trust that I don't have to post your comment dear, and I will continue to run this blog the only way I can (fabulously).
*I am always in search for the next big thing in fashion, if you are a designer and you think my readers will be interested in your pieces, email me. I love to meet new designers.
*Are you a writer and want to submit an article? Email me with your ideas.
Thanks all,
Amanda
