It's no secret that I am constantly looking for the next big thing in fashion and have such tremendous appreciation for innovative designers that can't be found in Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, Elle, or any of the other most notable fashion magazines. One of the main reasons I started this blog was so I could post about designers that don't get much press, designers who are new to the industry, and those that bring back the boldness to fashion that once used to be the standard.
So I am pleased to introduce the next big thing in Urban Chic: HTDOGWTR.
Jeffrey Lee Sawyer, a recent graduate of North Carolina State A&T University, created the label for a reason that in its self explains just why he is original and truly loves fashion.
While his love of fashion can be credited as a source of motivation, Sawyer's purpose of starting the label is very noteworthy. He created the label because he felt that even people of modest backgrounds and income levels deserve good fashion. He feels people of all income levels deserve fashion that makes a statement, why look like everyone else if you don't have to?
Urban with a splash of attitude, there is something in his collections that all can adore.
Let's take a look at some of his pieces...
This look has to be one of my favorites! I just love this.
Very hot scarves indeed. I love the elephant one.
