I had another exhausting week, so today I decided to shop a little, although I would have done so even if I had a relaxed week. It really makes no difference. But in stressful moments, shopping can be your therapy. I, like millions of other women, feel shopping is even more therapeutic when you happen to run into really great deals on items that are usually out of your price range. It's like you secretly get some type of rush because you felt like you outsmarted or out-shopped someone. Oh the fabulousness of sales, so gratifying.
TJ-Maxx was one of my first destinations. I have learned that if you really take the time to look for real deals on great fashion, you will indeed find them in this store. Oh yes, you must have patience too. Depending on the day and time, there just might be an entire herd of women ready to pounce on you to get to that Dooney and Bourke bag that you just picked up. Or even more annoying, they weren't interested in those BCBG pumps until you picked them up. But if you are anything like me, they become invisible while you are checking labels, flipping over those price tags, and calculating the savings. That's right, I can't see anything while I have a designer bag in my damn hands.
The first place I always go: handbags. Saw a few cute ones, but nothing impressive for a while. I walked into the section of green handbags and I almost missed it. Seeing the beauty of the bag, I instantly begin to adore its quality. It had to be designer. I flipped the tag, and saw two fashionable words: Cole Haan.
Haan's bags are anything but cheap. This bag usually sales for $325. TJ Maxx's price...
$15! And I love these because they have a vintage look.
While I saw and found great deals on fashion, I also have a soft spot for home decor. Most particularly, paintings or fashion photos (vintage of course). I went to Bed Bath & Beyond and found these photos/wall decor pieces and fell in love.
I love her dress! Can you imagine wearing a dress like this? This is such a gorgeous photo.

Looks like I will be investing in some new wall decor.
