Rapper 50 Cent just cannot seem to focus on making music and leave bullying to the children.
He has truly made a second career out of "beefing" with other rap heavyweights, and you can officially add Nas to his current list of targets.
50 cent recently told XXL magazine:
"Nas is cold as ice. Nas is the block of ice that sunk the Titanic... I didn't even hear his record. I didn't even hear what you talking about...
I really don't want to talk about Nas. I think he's at one of those points to where his career's finished, to be honest. He's had some great moments and made good music in the past, but he no longer has the interest of the general public or myself."
When 50 Cent was asked if he heard Nas' diss to him on the track entitled "Queens Get The Money," 50 Cent said he hadn't even heard the track because it's too far below his radar.
Well damn!
I have always considered Nas a legend, and one of the most talented lyricists I have ever listened to. His talent is rare, but I must admit, I too wonder what happened. But I don't think it would be smart at this point to discredit all he has done musically, he has plenty of time to reclaim his iconic status.
But seriously, it irritates me that 50 Cent even made these statements. He has never been known as a talented and serious lyricist, so why is he even speaking like he has some authority?
50 stop talking reckless and work on your own music because many would say that you yourself have fallen off also.
I'm just saying...

January 28, 2009 at 9:50 AMFor real?
That was how he came into the game.
If he did not cut his first track cussing er'body in the rap game out he would not be who he is today.
I am sorry I have never liked fiddy.
Me either! He sucks and he can't even rap but he hates on everyone else. He's so wack.
January 28, 2009 at 10:21 AMWhatever. Nas might have had a pretty wack last album, but he will come back hard. 50 is just trying to ruin him like he did Ja Rule.
January 28, 2009 at 10:27 AMWow. 50 Cent just won't stop, will he?
