Beyonce Acts Like A Diva At The Inauguration

Looks like Beyonce wasn't just trying to score well with the charts when she recorded her hit "Diva" in which she crowns herself as the number one diva, she actually meant every single word of it.

Beyonce stayed busy during the Inauguration; she performed for HBO's "We Are One" concert, and there is her highly praised performance at the "Neighborhood Inaugural Ball" in which the chart topping singer performed "At Last" for President Obama and the First Lady's ceremonial first dance.

Apparently, after wrapping up her rehearsal for her Inauguration ball first dance performance, Beyonce was not too pleased to learn that she would have to walk to her car. As always, she had on a pair of heels and walking in the cold was not an option. Due to the intensity of the Inauguration, the streets around the Warner Theater had been shut down by security, and the police would not budge for the superstar.

Luckily for Beyonce, her diva fit didn't go in vain. The secret service agreed to pick up Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z and return them to their hotel to change clothes and return to the theater.

Beyonce is receiving heavy criticism for her diva antics on Inauguration day, and is not at all pleased with being labeled as a diva. She tells the press:

"I'm not this round the clock diva looking for attention. I'm way more comfortable out of the spotlight and just chilling out with my family."

Well Beyonce, it's kind of too late to take back your diva title after you released a song in which you call yourself a diva. But don't feel too bad, being a diva isn't a horrible thing. There is just a time and place for it, and the Inauguration may not have been it. But don't kick yourself out the diva club, it really does have its perks.
