Fashion Designer: Junya Watanabe
One of the hottest fashion trends I am seeing right now has to be the African/Tribal look. During NY Fashion Week, most of the top designers included tribal designs in their collections. The reason I love this trend is because it allows you to dress a lot bolder. Here were some of my favorite tribal looks on the runway from a few top designers...
Louis Vuitton. Notice his use of the chunky statement necklace here. Brilliant.
Anna Sui. Ultra feminine with a bold twist thanks to the statement necklace and mustard color choices for both bag and shoes.
Oscar de la Renta.
DKNY. Chic and Simple.
Christian Dior. This is my favorite look.
So there you have some of the hottest tribal looks straight from the runway. This will be a popular and hot look in the spring. But always remember to put your personal twist on all fashion trends, because it's the only fashionable thing to do!

January 4, 2009 at 9:45 PMThe model for the Christian Dior show really reminds me of Audrey Hepburn. Maybe it's the shades, but the look is so Breakfast At Tiffany's(ish). That's probably why it's your fave Amanda. I know that's why it's mine.
