I was expecting Vanessa and Zac to sing more than they did. They sang like two words. Beyonce and Hugh did great though.

But you chose to call Beyonce out as if it was her choice to lip sync. It's the Oscars, the producers chose to have every one pre-recors their performances. Relax, and don't hate so much.
oh they all lip synced? I didn't even notice. Ah well, it was just good to see some color up there singing last night. I think Beyonce just touched the nerve of a lot of people because of her success, it's just a waste of time to be so hateful when you can be successful too. But I was glad to see John Legend perform too. It was a great show.
February 23, 2009 at 5:32 PMMr. Jackman killed it. I actually watched the entire show this year and he did a great job! However, I would have loved to see Anne Hathaway do more. She has a great voice and was WONDERFUL in the opener. This wasn't bad, just wasn't great. I see there are some Beyonce stans on here so I will keep the rest of my comments to myself.
February 23, 2009 at 6:34 PMThe format for this year's show was awesome. I loved how they had past winners announce the nominees. Very touching. I would have loved to see Taraji win, but I am sure this is not her last nomination ('pulling out my old Baby Boy DVD right now...)
