Apparently, while at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party, Chris Brown was off somewhere chatting it up with Leona Lewis. While conversing with Leona, Chris put his hand on the small of her back. And Rihanna was not at all happy with that. Although sources say it was just a friendly and innocent gesture, Rihanna was furious.
And Leona Lewis is said to have a very serious boyfriend, and absolutely no interest in Chris Brown.
Anywho, Rihanna is still talking to the cops, and told them that Chris Brown threatened her life. After the argument, Rihanna says she threw the car keys out the window. Chris Brown got out of the car to retrieve the keys, but became furious when he couldn't locate them. He then walked back to the car told Rihanna "I'm going to kill you",and reportedly choked Rihanna until she was unconscious. He then fled the scene.
I'm not saying this didn't happen, but obviously more happened than this. Rihanna had bite marks on her arms, a bruised face, a split lip, and a black eye according to reports. So it is very clear that investigation is still going on and the truth has not fully came out just yet.
Chris' folks are speaking out and trying to do a little to invoke sympathy from the public. His big sister says he is really a good kid, and has never been violent. She also says he feels awful about everything, but he is is coping. Unfortunately, there are already reports out stating that Rihanna's people are telling sources in the media that this is not the first time Chris has hit Rihanna, and that she had visible bruises on her neck from an attack last December.
This is just getting crazy...
Anyway, Ciara has finally gotten a green light on her upcoming album "Fantasy Ride." It was pushed back last year, and now her label has confirmed an April release. Ciara's new album will be released April 7th on Jive Records. Congrats to Ciara. I know she has been really stressed about all of this.
Moving on...
Beyonce and Stevie Wonder have been added to the list of performers for tonight's NAACP Image Awards. Other performances include Jennifer Hudson and Seal. Hosts and presenters include my girl Taraji P. Henson, Halle Berry, Tyler Perry, and Diddy. It airs Thursday at 8pm on Fox.
And for those of you that care...
Lil' Kim has been confirmed to join the cast of the next season of Dancing with Stars. The new season premieres March 9th.

I am pretty sure Rihanna and Chris Brown got into it over some other woman and Rihanna just being a little too jealous. I just hope they move on and don't try to salvage this unhealthy relationship.
