Gossip Fix|Gayle King Does Not Support Chris Brown|50 Cent Inspired By Britney Spears|Halle Berry Lands A New Role In New 'Doris Payne' Film

Tuesday, February 17, 2009

Good morning people. Let me start off by saying it is a very slow news day. There aren't any new developments on the Chris Brown Rihanna fight, and you know I'm not one to make up and post rumors for hits, so I will give you the little bit that I do have anyway.

Let's get started...

It seems like everyone is choosing sides between Rihanna and Chris Brown, and it should come as no surprise that most celebrities are Team Rihanna. Jay-Z is calling for support of the Barbados beauty, Kanye West considers her a baby sister, and most of Hollywood's A-Listers have already been very vocal of their support of Rihanna over the past week. If it's not enough that the media has basically completely torn Chris Brown a part, now Oprah's best gal pal Gayle King is getting off in his a**...

Gayle King didn't hold back her disgust with Chris Brown and told Extra:

“I can’t think of anything that makes me support anything that Chris Brown is saying at this time. And my heart just aches for Rihanna.”

And if that's not interesting enough, apparently at the All Star Game, Rihanna's hit "Umbrella" came on before the dunking contest and all the stars began to clap and cheer enthusiastically in support for Rihanna. Meanwhile, all of Chris Brown performances and appearances for the event were canceled.

Word on the street is Chris Brown's new PR/Crisis management person is Paris Hilton's spokesperson.

When has Paris really been caught up in something as serious as Chris Brown is in right now? What, that damn sex tape? The only thing I recall Paris doing to take on the controversy of the sex tape was sit on Oprah's couch, and her career took off after that. And if I'm not mistaken, that's why she (and Kim Kardashian) made sex tapes in the first place. So as to why he has hired this person to handle his image, I can only scratch my head on that one.

Moving on...

Halle Berry has been confirmed for a new role...

Halle Berry has signed on to take on the lead role in the upcoming "Doris Payne" film. The film is about an international jewel thief whose career lasted for five decades.

Guess who might be having some financial troubles...

Donald Trump's casino group filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection.

Apparently, the casino operators had assets of of about $2.1 billion, with total debts of $1.74 billion on December 31, 2008.

This is the third time the company has filed for bankruptcy protection. No difference, we all know Donald Trump will make every cent of it back. He's done it many times before.

Rapper Nas and wife Kelis previously announced they are expecting a baby, well now they know the sex...

The couple is having a boy. Nas is also currently working on an album with Damian Marley and the two are also working on building some schools in Africa.

And 50 Cent was inspired by Britney Spears...

He's telling folks that his upcoming album entitled "Before I Self Destruct", was inspired by Britney Spear's high profile break down. 50 Cent says Spears' meltdown was the "greatest show on earth."

Womp, womp.

I told you it was a slow news day.

Why is everyone in such a rush to tear Chris Brown? What if Rihanna hit him first, and he was just defending himself??

To 12:40

I don''t care if Rihanna smacked the taste out his mouth, he had no right to hit her with closed fists! He is a man and she is a woman. Stop making excuses for that bastard.

Umm, punching women in the face is never acceptable. I hope this has ended his career. I'm so tired of women blaming other women for domestic/physical abuse. It makes absolutely no sense.
