The fabulous Kerry Washington recently attended MoMA's 8th Annual Documentary Fortnight. As usual, Kerry Washington went out of the box with her look:
This dress works for me for a few reasons. I love how all the colors have been infused together, and how elegant the cut of Kerry Washington's dress is. This was a very bold choice and Kerry Washington pulled it off. I'm not surprised, Kerry usually picks bolder pieces and they usually look great on her.
Now she has had some mishaps...
She wore this get up to the Inaugural ball and I was very disappointed. This dress was not appropriate for the occasion and a little too metallic for my liking.
But Kerry Washington is a perfect example of a woman who is confident in her own style and knows how to pick pieces that compliment her style. And when it comes to fashion, self-expression is useless without self-identity.
Fabulous.

I like Kerry Washington's style, but I'm not sure if I like the dress. It is kind of too out of the box for me.

February 12, 2009 at 3:24 PMdo you know the designer of this dress? I really like it and I'm just wondering who designed it.
I love her style. It's different, but I love that about her. Such a beauty!
February 12, 2009 at 3:26 PMShe is def not traditional but that's refreshing now a days. Tired of everyone trying to look like everyone else. She gets 5 stars for originality.
