Sanaa Lathan attended and presented at the 40th Annual NAACP Image Awards. Sanaa Lathan opted for elegance with a bun and and went bold with a bright red halter dress. The overall style of the dress was even bolder than the color... 
While I love Sanaa Lathan and truly think she is a beautiful woman, I just wasn't completely sold on this dress. While I think the dress is far from horrible, I just think it was a bit much for the NAACP Image Awards. The V-cut in the front of the dress was very low, and this dress was a little bit too sexy for the occasion. For an evening of honoring such a prestigious public service organization and African Americans who have contributed so much to the advancement of African Americans, I just thought the dress was just a bit much. It's still a pretty dress, just the wrong occasion.
But I love the back of the dress. The criss cross of the straps is pretty damn stylish. 
Not loving the dress, but Sanaa Lathan was born fierce. She rarely disappoints.
