Rachel Roy has handed Damon Dash divorce papers.
Rachel Roy filed a divorce suit in New York's Supreme court earlier this month according to reports.
It appears that Dash's money issues might be the cause for Roy's decision to divorce, as the papers cite "nonmonetary relief" as the reason for the decision.
Roy has went on to become a pretty successful fashion designer, although her company was financially backed by Dash before money problems began to set in.
Damon Dash is facing foreclosure on his two Tribeca, New York properties and owes $2 million in state taxes. Last year, a judge ordered Manhattan officials to seize his car after he failed to make the monthly payments. He is also being sued by numerous landlords and law firms for unpaid bills.
Damn. It's amazing how a person can be on top of the world with the pockets to match, but if they aren't smart, they quickly lose it all.
Meanwhile Jay-Z is damn near worth over $300 million dollars and his wife Beyonce raked in $80 million last year.

Sounds like Rachel got what she wanted and once he ran out of money, she decided she should split. She just wanted some funding for her fashion label, that is all.
