It is finally here.
We were all hoping that it would never happen, we thought it was all simply some horrible joke, I mean who really took Sheree Whitfield's She by Sheree fashion line seriously when she couldn't even put together a decent showing of her line last season?
The catwalks are no longer safe.
Sheree Whitfield has finally given all the fashion addicts and non believers a glimpse of her new fashion line "She By Sheree." And it doesn't look bad at all, I can't even call it dreadful.
Take a look at She By Sheree's catwalk action and judge for yourself:

And of course the show couldn't end without designer Sheree Whitfield strutting down the catwalk herself:
Overall, I cannot say that I find her fashion line chic, trendy, or fabulous, but I did expect She By Sheree to be so much worse. Honestly, I expected Sheree Whitfield to debut a fashion disaster. And I can't say she did.
Is Sheree Whitfield's She By Sheree ready for Fashion Week? Absolutely not. As a fashion Designer, I hope Sheree Whitfield is just getting her feet wet with this fashion line and not showing us the best she can do.
Next up, Lisa Wu Hartwell's Closet Freaks fashion line...
You can already notice that Lisa Wu Hartwell prefers brighter colors in her Closet Freak fashion line, while Sheree prefers darker colors more appropriate to the Fall season.
Lisa Wu Hartwell's Closet Freak is a bit too clubbish for me. The entire fashion line looks like cheap club wear, and it doesn't do much for the trendy girl.
While She By Sheree isn't exactly couture, one can look at the collection and admit that with the right team, Sheree Whitfield could make this line real high fashion. It would take a lot of work but is definitely not impossible.
So who do I deem the winner of this Catwalk Showdown?
She By Sheree crushed Closet Freak on the catwalk.
While neither line is ready to be labeled high fashion, or appear in the glossy pages of fashion bible Vogue, Sheree Whitfield's fashion line actually has a chance being taken seriously in the future. Of course, Sheree would need to design a better collection and separate herself from the Reality Television stigma that kills careers before they even start, but Lisa's line is no where close to good fashion. Maybe next time Lisa.

Yeah I don't think neither one of these lines are Fashion Week material. But unfortunately, Sheree will be in attendance this year. She definitely has more of a shot than Lisa does though.
